Quality and Environmental Policy
TÉCNICAS QUÍMICAS INDUSTRIALES, S.A. (TEQUISA) works in a constant and proactive manner in innovation and research, designing, developing, and manufacturing food additives and technological processing aids. It also provides technical advice on food production, particularly in the areas of capture fisheries and aquaculture.
From TEQUISA, principles of sustainability and excellence are followed, considering it essential to manage the Environmental, Quality, and Occupational Health and Safety aspects of its activities in order to ensure proper service delivery, as well as to meet customer demands in terms of Quality. This is carried out in compliance with legal requirements and with a commitment to continuous improvement, through means aligned with applicable international standards and covering all processes within the organization.
The strategic objectives and commitments of TEQUISA are as follows:
- To ensure innovation, quality, and technological reliability in all our products, guaranteeing compliance with applicable requirements and continuous improvement.
- To understand the needs and expectations of our stakeholders, creating appropriate systems and products to meet them.
- To implement improvement actions in production processes and in the development of products and services.
- To comply with all applicable legislation, including that related to health and safety, as well as regulations affecting the developed product and the environment, in addition to any other requirements to which TEQUISA subscribes.
- To ensure at all times that the materials used in our formulations are authorized by the relevant directives and regulations.
- To promote communication and cooperation with employees and suppliers to ensure that all established objectives are achieved and that customers receive the best possible service and attention. Special attention will be given to the concerns of employees, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- To minimize the impacts of activities and processes on the environment, promote pollution prevention, and avoid harm to the health of workers.
- To ensure proper compliance across all levels-national, regional, and local. In all cases, achievable safety standards will be assessed in accordance with the current state of the art.
These principles, which will be communicated throughout the entire organization, will serve as a guide for setting objectives that, on an annual basis, will be established in accordance with continuous improvement criteria, ensuring compliance with the company’s policy through the effort and collaboration of all employees, supervisors, and managers, with the support of the organization’s management team.
This policy has been developed taking into account the context in which the organization operates, as well as all the stakeholders involved in it, including our employees, partner companies, customers, suppliers, and management. This ensures that decisions and actions taken by management consider each of them, fostering better relationships among all parties.
