TQI ANPEX is a range of food additives in powder or liquid form, totally soluble in water. Products with or without phosphates.
Its technological function is stabilising the texture and colour of the muscle and fat tissue of the fish, either whole or in pieces (slices, fillets, portions, butterflied, etc.), especially in those species of consistent texture, stabilising its colour and adding an antioxidant action, avoiding enzymatic and oxidising processes of the fish fat. They retain interstitial liquids. maintain the natural colour of the species. They are used dissolved in fresh or salty water.
Within this range, there are selective products for the treatment of fish species with vivid colours in order to avoid the loss of colour in the skin or the muscle tissue, enabling to maintain its commercial quality, even after long periods frozen, or refrigerated. It also includes products with a preservative-antioxidant-stabilising character for the treatment of fish in dry or wet salting, especially for processing fatty or white fish, in order to maintain the characteristic colour and smell of the muscle and the fat (cod, salmon, tuna, sardine, mackerel, cat fish, tilapia, etc.) to be later sold refrigerated, frozen, deep-frozen, preserves, semi-preserves. dehydrated, dry, smoked products. etc.

TQI ANPEX GLASS
TQI ANPEX GLASS is a range of food additives with a fine and white powdered appearance, or else liquids for the glazing and protection of frozen products. Totally soluble in fresh or salty water. Phosphate-free products.
Its technological function is forming a uniform and elastic film on the surface of frozen food (fishing products, vegetables, meat products, pre-cooked, etc.), in order to avoid its dehydration and oxidising while they are kept frozen. They visibly improve the appearance of the frozen product compared to glazing just with water. They reduce the water activity, avoiding a higher enzymatic or bacterial development. There are special versions to use with water of medium or high hardness, conditioning the calcium and magnesium salts to avoid opacity in the glazing layer. TQI ANPEIX is a range of food additives with a fine and white or creamy white powdered appearance. Totally soluble in water. Products with or without phosphates.
Its technological function is avoiding oxidising and enzymatic processes, stabilising also the texture of the muscle and fatty tissue. Its powerful antioxidant action prevents the oxidation of lipids, avoiding yellowing and rancidity phenomena of fish fat, which reduce important commercial value. It stabilises the colour of the muscle tissue of the fish, even in those cases where the tissue tonalities vary, not interfering in the colour of the protein but preserving the natural tonality of the fish itself. They retain interstitial liquids, maintaining the natural taste of the species, and in case of strong flavours, they make them softer, in order to give viability to their commercialization. They are used for butterflied fish, fish pieces, filleted or sliced fish, etc., with or without skin. They are suitable for fish paste, and for very fatty and soft textured species, flat or lean fish.
The range includes different versions for the treatment and stabilisation of fish in its processing, freezing or cooking processes. They are suitable for waters of medium to high hardness. They are used dissolved in fresh or salty water.

TQI BLANTEX
TQI BLANTEX is a range of food additives with a powdered or liquid appearance. Totally soluble in water. Products with or without phosphates.
This range of products is especially recommended for the texturing treatment (softening) and colour stabilization of cephalopods and molluscs species, with or without skin, with or without shell, in continuous or discontinuous processing cycles, and for sale fresh or frozen raw, or else as a cooked preparation, pre-cooked frozen (battered, breaded, paella portions, etc.), preserves and semi-preserves, dehydrated, dried products, etc. They are also used in cooking baths, in order to improve the texture of the muscle tissue and reduce cooking times, significantly reducing the loss of weight performance (octopus, common squid, giant squid, arrow squid, cuttlefish, etc.).
They do not modify the chemical characteristics of the species, nor alter their characteristic taste and smell, which are even improved according to the species to be treated.
They are used dissolved in fresh or salty water, and there may be combinations between TQI BLANTEX in powder or liquid form, in order to obtain optimal and complementary results. There are versions adapted to work with waters of medium or high hardness.

MELACIDE
MELACIDE is a range of food additives with a powdered appearance, white or creamy white and with a studied granulometry. Depending on the additive, they are used both by powdering them directly on the crustacean or by immersion dissolved in water (sea or fresh), and with total solubility in the water. Products with a low sulphite content or sulphite free, and with or without phosphate.
Specific additives for the antimelanosic treatment of crustaceans and cephalopods. Fresh or to be frozen. For use in fishing boat, fish farm or factory. The low SO2 contents enable its use without any residual problem.
Its technological function is stabilising the organoleptic characters of the fishing product due to its antioxidant-colour stabilising and antimelanosic action. They are especially recommended for the treatment of crustaceans (shrimp. prawn, lobster. Norway lobster, velvet crab. spider crab, edible crab, etc.).
Some contain small sulphite fractions in their composition, supplemented with other materials that enhance the antioxidant-stabilizing action, which confers the main antimelanosic action by the deactivation of the enzymatic process through which blackening or melanosis occurs. They also incorporate colour fixers, texture stabilizers and moisturizers that allow to retain the interstitial liquids, also providing a high shine of the chitinous tissue. They maintain the natural colours of the species, without discolouration of antennas, appendages, telson, cephalothorax and abdomen, eyes, etc. They preserve the organoleptic characteristics of the crustacean as well as the freshly caught species, even after long periods of freezing, under normal conditions of protection in terms of packaging and storage temperature.

TQI PLUSSAL
PLUSSAL is a range of sodium-reduced refined sea salts (20 to 40 % less) to be used on food as a substitute of salt (marine or rock salt). They are formulated with up to 60 % of Sodium chloride and complemented up to 100 % with other chlorides (potassium, magnesium and calcium). They have technological and functional properties better or similar to common salt and other types of food salts, for seasoning foods, even as preservatives, or in freezing brines, salty snacks, cheese, prepared dishes, bakery and confectionery, meat products and sausages, etc., in the general food industry.
PLUSSAL is a balance of the four most common chlorides that contain minerals, essential for the human body (sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium). Among its beneficial effects, we want to emphasize that they allow the sodium / potassium balance, which is the regulator of arterial hypertension and helps avoid cardiovascular problems.
They have the same properties as common salt, but they provide more advantages: they are softer in the mouth, enhance the taste of foods, greater water solubility, better behaviour in freezing brines, and greater moisture on food, although the most significant and important effect is the reduction of sodium, thus complying with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA), and the Spanish Agency for Consumption, Food Safety and Nutrition (AECOSAN).
